Congenital clubfoot (CCF) has a prevalence of 2-3 per 1,000 and is a common pediatric orthopedic deformity including forefoot pronation, heel pronation, ankle clubfoot and tibial internal rotation. It is diagnosed at birth due to the appearance and sex of the foot. Untreated, it can produce severe disability and lead to difficulty in walking. The globally accepted and popular treatment method is called Ponseti plaster orthosis, which gradually corrects forefoot pronation and heel pronation through continuous plaster orthosis, followed by percutaneous Achilles tendon severance to correct horseshoe deformity, and finally corrects tibial internal rotation deformity gradually through Denis-Brown brace to obtain the best form and function of the foot.
