Granules of Gastrocardiac are used for acute diarrhea in infants and children over 1 month of age, in combination with oral rehydration or intravenous rehydration if necessary. Gastrokadotrex granules are an intestinal enkephalinase inhibitor that selectively and reversibly inhibits enkephalinase activity, thereby protecting endogenous enkephalins from degradation, prolonging the physiological activity of endogenous enkephalins in the digestive tract, inhibiting intestinal hypersecretion, and reducing water and electrolyte loss in the body without affecting normal water and salt absorption. Since abscisicadotril selectively acts on peripheral enkephalinase, it does not affect central nervous system enkephalinase activity, gastrointestinal motility and intestinal basal secretion, and is non-addictive. The total single daily dose for children should not exceed 6 mg per kg of body weight, and the continuous administration of elimocadotril should not exceed 7 days. Give oral rehydration or intravenous rehydration if necessary. The recommended dose is 10mg (1 sachet) three times daily for children 1-9 months of age (weight <9kg) and 20mg (2 sachets) three times daily for children 9-30 months of age (weight 9-13kg). It should be noted that patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency should not take abscisicadotril; patients who cannot ingest fructose, have malabsorption of glucose or galactose, lack of sucrase and maltase should not take abscisicadotril. Patients whose diarrhea symptoms persist after 5 days of continued use of this product should seek further medical attention or use other drug treatment options. Glivecadotril can be taken with food, water or breast milk and should be mixed well when administered.
