How long does it take for a mole to scab over?

It usually takes about 10-15 days for the scabs to fall off after the medicated mole spotting. The principle of medicated mole spotting is to use corrosive liquid to apply on the surface of the pigmented mole, which will destroy and remove the pigmented mole cells through its powerful corrosive and exfoliating effects, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the pigmented mole. However, during the process of mole removal, the corrosive liquid will form a burning-like stimulation on the skin surface, thus forming a blood crust. The crust will adhere to the surface of the skin and will only fall off after the skin has healed. The whole process of skin healing is slow because of the slow growth process of the fibroblasts themselves, which takes about 10-15 days. It is recommended that patients do not pick at the scabs with their hands until they have fallen off on their own, as this may leave visible scars and may affect the rate of self-healing and delay healing.
