What are the symptoms of cerebral aneurysm?

Cerebral artery hemangioma is a cystic tumor formed by the outward expansion of local blood vessel wall due to structural dysplasia of cerebral artery wall or damage or aging of artery wall caused by trauma or atherosclerosis, which is like a balloon blown up on the wall of cerebral blood vessel and is not a tumor in real sense. Cerebral artery aneurysm is an invisible time bomb of life, and if it ruptures, the rate of death and disability is extremely high. Intracranial aneurysms are caused by localized congenital defects in the cerebral artery wall and increased pressure in the lumen, and are abnormal protrusions on the wall of the intracranial arteries. The aneurysms are congenital (developmental) aneurysms, infected aneurysms, traumatic aneurysms, atherosclerotic aneurysms, and dissecting aneurysms. The age of prevalence is 40-60 years old, and it is more common in women. So, what are the symptoms of cerebral aneurysm? 1. Compression symptoms Cerebral aneurysm produces corresponding compression symptoms because of different locations. When the aneurysm enlarges, headache may appear, which is located in the orbit on the side of the disease and is pulsating; protrusion of the eye on the side of the disease, ptosis of the eyelid, limited abduction of the eye, mild hemiparesis, motor aphasia, mental disorder, uveitis, seizure and rhinorrhea may also appear. 2.Rupture aura After aneurysm expansion, it often causes limited headache, eye pain, vision loss, nausea, neck stiffness, dizziness and movement or sensory disorders, which may be the aura of cerebral aneurysm rupture. When the diameter of aneurysm exceeds 2.5 cm, it can cause symptoms of increased intracranial pressure. 3.Hemorrhage symptoms After rupture of cerebral aneurysm, symptoms of subarachnoid hemorrhage, such as severe headache, nausea and vomiting, meningeal irritation signs, fever, may be accompanied by convulsions, impaired consciousness and arteriovenous nerve palsy. After the rupture of cerebral aneurysm, the patient’s symptoms are often repeatedly aggravated after rebleeding, and the consciousness impairment is deepened or new symptoms and signs appear again.
