Atrial septal defect is a subtype of congenital heart disease, which is caused by the presence of an orifice in the atrial septum that should not be there, resulting in the mixing of blood between the left and right atria through the orifice, causing a disturbance in human hemodynamics and seriously affecting human health. The location of the atrial septal defect murmur is located in the middle of the sternum and the third and fourth intercostal spaces on the left side, and a tertiary systolic murmur can be heard. If minimally invasive surgery is available, interventional blocking is recommended, which is less invasive and the patient recovers more quickly.
