What to look for in an outpatient examination

Sports medicine outpatient examinations generally include: I. Imaging 1. General X-rays: You can get the results 1-2 hours after the film is taken, or you can go directly to the clinic and ask the doctor to look at the film from the computer without waiting for the results. You need to set aside about 1 hour from the time the doctor prescribes the test to the time you pay the fee to the time you take the film. Therefore, if you want to solve the problem in one outpatient visit, it is best to visit the clinic 2 hours before the clinic closes. 2.CT examination: generally not as fast as X-rays, but basically can be done on the same day, suitable for morning visits and afternoon results (may not be able to pick up the official report, but the computer can look at the film). 3.MRI examination: This is the more headache examination of Beihang Hospital, which takes a long time, but there is no way. There are too many outpatients and not enough MRI machines. Almost all of our MRI machines basically run from morning to midnight. You need to make an appointment for the MRI first (this is usually done on the same day of the clinic visit by paying at the fee and then going directly to the MRI room on the west side of the clinic building to make an appointment), then come for the MRI at the appointed time (usually about 3 days after the first clinic visit), and then pick up the report at the hospital in 2-3 days. Ultrasound is mainly used to diagnose soft tissue injuries, such as tendon tears, degeneration, and muscles at noon or bursal lesions, etc. Ultrasound requires an appointment, but unlike MRI, the appointment is made first and then the fee is paid. Blood tests are generally done for preoperative preparation. To check biochemical combination and immune eight, fasting is required. So if you want to make an appointment for surgery, please visit us in the morning on an empty stomach. For patients with joint injuries who do not feel well, it is also advisable to see the doctor on an empty stomach in case problems are detected and pre-operative tests are needed. There are too many patients who regret eating breakfast after problems are detected! The current outpatient environment of the Third Hospital is not easy for the average person to adapt to, so you have to weigh the problem with one outpatient visit on an empty stomach versus one more visit. Patients with diabetes should have sugar cubes on hand in case of hypoglycemic reactions.
