Treatment of pustular psoriasis

If a patient has pustular psoriasis, it must be treated promptly and without delay because pustular psoriasis mostly has an acute onset and spreads throughout the body within a few weeks, often accompanied by systemic symptoms such as high fever, fatigue, joint pain and swelling, general malaise and increased white blood cells; complicated by liver, kidney and other organ damage; or life-threatening due to secondary infection, electrolyte disorders, and failure. Pustular psoriasis, divided into two types: generalized and restricted. 1, generalized pustular psoriasis is rare clinically. The onset of this type is rapid, with general discomfort and accompanied by systemic symptoms such as flaccid hyperthermia and leukocytosis. The skin lesions are initially acute inflammatory erythematous plaques with a number of dense pinhead to corn size yellow-white sterile shallow pustules on the surface. The pustules may expand and fuse to form a “pus paste”. It often involves a wide range of skin surface, and can even extend the whole body. The cause of the disease is usually related to the onset of common psoriasis after long-term use of corticosteroids and sudden discontinuation of the drug, or to infection or drug stimulation. The disease is heavy, often recurs periodically, and has a poor prognosis; 2, limited pustular psoriasis, also known as palmoplantar pustular psoriasis, is mostly limited to the palmoplantar, often occurring in batches in the size of the fissure or plantar area of the foot most yellowish pinhead to millet size pustules, the base flushed. The pustules rupture, crust over and flake off after about 1 to 2 weeks. Small pustules appear underneath the scales, sometimes light and sometimes heavy. Self-perceived itching or pain. The nails may be involved and are cloudy and hypertrophic, with crestal elevations. Psoriasis lesions are often seen on other parts of the body. There are also cases that start in the palmoplantar area and become generalized after many recurrent attacks. When treating pustular psoriasis, patients need to understand a lot of relevant knowledge. The actual fact is that you can find out more about the actual disease, and it’s also helpful for the treatment of the disease.
