Can ringworm be cured?

Ringworm is very common in our lives and has a high incidence, such as the familiar foot fungus (tinea pedis) and gray nails (onychomycosis). There are also many medications available to treat ringworm, with a variety of foot drops, ointments, applications and internal antifungal medications available from one to another. However, ringworm is often recurrent and recurring, and even with good medicine, it is only temporarily relieved, but never seems to be eradicated. There are many reasons why ringworm does not heal, but to a large extent it is because people lack awareness of ringworm and do not pay enough attention to it ideologically. Ringworm mostly only damages the local skin and rarely affects the internal organs or the whole body, so it has little impact on the patient’s work and life. It is also obvious that ringworm will improve with a little treatment, or it will reduce on its own with the change of seasons and environment, so many “big men” do not take these small aches and pains to heart. In fact, ringworm can be cured. The reasons are as follows: (1) Ringworm is caused by fungus, and as long as the fungus is eliminated from the lesions, ringworm can be eradicated. (2) It is necessary to use different methods of treatment according to the characteristics of each ringworm disease. (3) After ringworm has gotten better with treatment, it is still important to keep using medication for a period of time (mainly referring to topical medication) so that the residual fungus can be destroyed and ringworm will not come back. (4) In order for ringworm to not come back, the cause of ringworm should be eliminated as much as possible. Ringworm can be completely cured if the above aspects are taken care of.
