Thin endometrium is usually difficult to heal on its own and may require clinical hormonal therapy or herbal treatment to improve the phenomenon of thin endometrium. There are many clinical causes of endometrial thinning: first, it may be due to repeated abortions, causing thinning of the functional layer of the endometrium, clinically manifested as low menstrual flow and ultrasound examination suggesting thin endometrium, which is due to excessive abortions and destruction of the functional layer, requiring medication to improve the condition of the endometrium. Secondly, due to taking oral contraceptives or hormone pills, causing endometrial atrophy, this situation requires discontinuing oral contraceptives and then using progestin to promote the growth of endometrium. Third, patients with tuberculosis, or patients with endometrial lesions, may have a thin endometrium.
