The best degree of recovery from brainstem hemorrhage is the absence of any sequelae, because there are some brainstem hemorrhages that are not fatal, such as a hemorrhage of only 5 ml in the cerebral bridge or midbrain, and in many cases there are no clinical symptoms and only a severe headache will manifest. However, other pupillary reflexes or limb movements and respiratory and circulatory functions are present, so the recovery is very good for such patients. Then there are some patients who have numbness and weakness of the limbs, or even long-term coma, and the degree of recovery is very poor. Especially for patients who are in coma after injury or brain hemorrhage, the degree of recovery is very poor, and some of them cannot even persist for a long time, resulting in death. Therefore, the condition of brainstem hemorrhage is very different and must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
