Analysis needs to be done on a case-by-case basis and is generally related to the size of the abscess, whether it is in the acute phase and the patient’s own physical condition. If the abscess is small, without complications, and the patient’s own healing ability is strong, it can subside or heal in about 2-3 weeks after antibiotics and rehydration support treatment; if the abdominal abscess is large and in the acute phase of infection, it mostly requires drainage treatment, and the abscess can be gradually absorbed in 1~2 months in general.
