Basic concepts of infertility

  Sterility infertility is divided into infertility and infertility. Infertility is a condition in which a couple of childbearing age has lived together for more than one year, has a normal sexual life, and does not use any contraception, but fails to conceive. Those who are able to conceive but cannot obtain a viable baby due to miscarriage or stillbirth for various reasons are called infertility. Male infertility or male infertility, customarily called male sterility, is the cause of infertility in a male partner.  The process and conditions of conception: the ovaries must discharge normal eggs, the semen must contain normal sperm, the eggs and sperm must meet in the fallopian tubes and unite to form a fertilized egg, which is transported into the uterine cavity, and the endometrium must be suitable for the fertilized egg to settle. Abnormalities in any of the above conditions can lead to infertility.  Patients with infertility are generally subject to social pressure from various aspects such as family ethics and local customs, and are tormented to run around seeking medical treatment. There are more medical institutions for infertility treatment in China, so patients must choose a regular hospital for treatment. According to the World Health Organization, 40% of infertility cases are caused by the male partner and 50% by the female partner, and there are reasons for both spouses to have infertility. The treatment of infertility to take the “couple with the treatment” is most conducive to quickly identify the cause of the disease, shorten the treatment time. For men, the semen test is relatively convenient, as long as there has been no ejaculation for 4 days and the semen is taken for examination.
