Can follicular hyperplasia at the root of the tongue heal on its own?

Follicular hyperplasia of the root of the tongue does not heal on its own. Follicular hyperplasia of the tongue root, i.e. lymphatic follicle hyperplasia of the pharynx, is mostly caused by inflammation of the pharynx, and although there are no obvious symptoms, it may heal only after the inflammation of the pharynx disappears. Normally, lymphoid follicles in the pharynx are not obvious and only proliferate when there is acute or chronic inflammation in the pharynx, which is a protective response of the organism to inflammation. If there are no symptoms, there is usually no need for targeted treatment, but when the lymphoid follicle increases, it will cause a foreign body sensation in the pharynx and cause discomfort, and then it needs to receive treatment. The treatment can be localized with compound borax solution, furacilin solution, golden voice and pharyngeal pill, nebulized inhalation treatment, and plasma cryoablation for hypertrophic pharyngitis. Patients need to pay attention to a light diet, avoid smoking and alcohol, can use Luo Han Guo, honeysuckle and other tea.
