Sweaty hands and feet can only be diagnosed based on the clinical presentation, combined with the appropriate tests. If a patient exhibits only mild sweating of the hands and feet, it is considered to be related to body composition; if the sweating is too severe, it is presumed to be hyperhidrosis; if the sweating of the hands and feet is accompanied by a strong odour, it is presumed to be oedipal sweating.
