What are the surgical methods to correct upper eyelid laxity?

According to the different surgical incisions, it can be divided into two methods: 1. Underbrow incision: also called eyebrow lift. It is mainly for middle-aged and young people with mildly lax upper eyelids. The incision is made close to the lower edge of the eyebrow, from the inner 1 cm of the eyebrow to the end of the eyebrow, and the loose skin is removed. The stitches are removed 1 week after surgery. The scar of the linear incision is more hidden close to the eyebrow, and the color gradually fades and becomes less obvious with time. 2.Double eyelid incision: mainly for middle-aged and elderly people who have obviously loose upper eyelids. The double eyelid incision is taken with a dovetail tail in order to remove more loose skin, and the surgery is usually completed within 1 hour. The stitches are removed 1 week after surgery. The double eyelid incision scars gradually become lighter in color and less visible with time.
