Sebaceous nevus is a kind of misshapen tumor with sebaceous gland hyperplasia, usually found at the age of 33 years old, there is a certain risk of malignant transformation, which needs to be treated. Although nevus of sebaceous gland itself is a benign lesion, but there is a certain risk of malignant transformation, so when found nevus of sebaceous gland, it is recommended to do timely treatment, to prevent the nevus of sebaceous gland from further increase in size, or even malignant transformation of nevus of sebaceous gland, which may lead to serious consequences. Sebaceous nevus can be removed by laser or freezing if it is small in size, and it usually takes several treatments to completely remove sebaceous nevus with low risk of recurrence. Larger nevi or those with malignant potential need to be considered for surgical removal.
