Color vision is a very common eye color vision abnormality in ophthalmology. The causes of this disease can be generally divided into two categories: the first is caused by congenital genetic factors, and this is by far one of the most common causes. It refers to the lack of color discrimination ability of the eyes due to congenital developmental abnormalities, so poor recognition of certain colors can also occur. There is no effective treatment for this condition, and although the symptoms can be improved by means of color vision glasses, they are not effective. The second is mainly a secondary abnormal color vision disorder, which is usually secondary to retinal disease or optic nerve disease and usually occurs later in life. Therefore, it is possible to restore this condition to normal with active treatment according to the specific cause.
