Moles, mostly facial pigmented moles. Most of the moles do not need to be treated. If the facial moles affect the appearance or have the tendency of malignant transformation, they can be removed through physical therapy and surgery. 1. Physical therapy: If the area of pigmented nevus is small and the location is shallow, it can be treated by physical therapy, the main methods are high-frequency electrosurgery, CO2 laser treatment, YAG laser treatment, etc. If the patient belongs to keloid body, it can be removed by physical therapy. If the patient belongs to keloid body, it is not recommended to use physical therapy to avoid scar proliferation. 2. Surgery: If the location of the pigmented nevus is deeper or larger, the pigmented nevus can be removed through surgery. During the surgery, local anesthesia will be applied to the lesion area, and the nevus will be excised as a whole and then sutured. If the nevus is too large, it may need to be removed in several stages; some suspected malignant nevus may need to be expanded and treated with radiotherapy. It is recommended that patients with pigmented nevus should go to a regular medical institution in time to get a clear diagnosis and actively cooperate with specialists for treatment.
