From June to the end of December 2010, our neurosurgery department successfully performed 7 whole brain angiograms and 5 intravascular microspring coil embolizations of aneurysms for 7 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage. 7 whole brain angiograms were performed to detect intracranial aneurysms, with accurate examination and high detection rate. Intravascular microspring coil embolization of intracranial aneurysms was successfully performed for 5 patients (including single-storage microspring coil embolization of aneurysms, stent-assisted microspring coil embolization, and balloon-assisted microspring coil embolization), of which the oldest patient was 76 years old, and the operations were all successful, with quick recovery (average hospitalization days 15 days) and good postoperative recovery (3 patients were discharged on foot). The operation was minimally invasive, with few complications and good results, and achieved good social and economic benefits.
