Recognizing what heel pain disorder is all about?

Heel pain is a common disorder of the middle-aged and elderly, caused by various causes of heel metatarsalgia. Heel pain can be caused by heel fat pad atrophy, metatarsal tenosynovitis, heel subacromial bursitis, heel bone spur, and heel hypertension. Heel pain mostly develops on one side or both sides at the same time, and the pain varies in severity. The onset of the disease is slow, with heel pain on the ground in the morning, relieved by a little walking, and pain is obvious when walking more, and affects walking when serious. The local area is not red or swollen, and there is a limited pressure point at the medial node of the heel bone, which is equivalent to the medial side of the front of the heel. Suitable insoles can be used, such as better wear resistance and elasticity of the heel pad, its specific shell shape can disperse the weight-bearing pressure of the heel, increase shock absorption elasticity, protect the heel injury site, so that it heals, but also to reduce local weight bearing, to prevent heel pain. You can also use warm water bath or massage therapy. If it still cannot be relieved, you can go to the hospital, the doctor may use drugs to close the pressure pain point, and pay attention to the aseptic operation when closing, and you should not do it by yourself. For patients who do not heal over time, surgical removal of the heel bone spur or subacromial bursa will be considered. It is important to note that obese patients should lose weight, wear thick-soled shoes and sponge pads, and also apply heel pads to prevent heel pain from occurring.
