There are many causative factors of esophageal cardia cancer, such as family genetic factors, content of trace substances in soil and water of high incidence area, irritating food, chemical substances, local chronic lesions, etc. Long-term psychological stimulation is also a triggering factor.

The high incidence of esophageal cardia cancer is in the age group of 45-70. The initial symptoms are usually pain in the chest when eating sour, spicy or hot food and foreign body sensation when swallowing; sometimes hiccups and pins and needles pain in the chest; sometimes it is a feeling of “indigestion”. Gastroscopic examination can detect this. In the middle stage, most of the symptoms are typical difficulty in swallowing, inability to eat hard food, and obvious loss of appetite and energy, which can be confirmed by barium meal fluoroscopy. Late stage manifestations usually include hoarseness, gastrointestinal bleeding, neck mass, extreme difficulty in eating and serious deterioration of physical condition.

Early stage esophageal cancer is always treated by surgery as long as the physical condition allows, and the effect is very good. For mid-stage esophageal cancer, surgery is recommended as much as possible, and radiation therapy can also be performed with satisfactory results; for mid-stage pancreatic cancer, radiation therapy is not recommended, and the effect of chemotherapy alone is also very poor, so surgery-based comprehensive therapy is the best approach. Advanced esophageal pancreatic cancer should be considered according to the patient’s condition and physical condition, and some patients have a better prognosis if the treatment is appropriate, but the possibility of cure is very small.

The most dangerous treatment phenomenon of esophageal cardia cancer is the use of antimicrobial and chemotherapeutic drugs without diagnosis in primary medical institutions, long time consultation everywhere, and long course of treatment with prescriptions or folk recommended drugs. This often delays the disease and misses the best treatment time, causing irreparable damage. It takes about ten to several decades for a healthy person to become a patient under the action of disease-causing factors, while a patient generally has only one year from the onset of the disease to natural death, and it is quite painful.
