HPV infection is clinically divided into high-risk HPV infection and low-risk HPV infection. Low-risk HPV infections are commonly known as HPV6 HPV11 infections, which are mainly transmitted through sexual contact. These patients often have a history of high-risk sex or multiple sexual partners, which can lead to vulvar itching, increased vaginal discharge, and grayish-white cauliflower-like growths found on the vulva, vagina, or cervix. High-risk HPV infection is often clinically asymptomatic, but persistent infection can lead to precancerous cervical lesions and even cervical cancer.
