Why do you have poor memory when you have more dreams?

Ms. Zhou had a lot of dreams when she slept in the last six months, almost as soon as she went to sleep, and she would have many dreams at night, whether she went to bed early or late, every day, dreaming one after the other. She was always told that her memory would decline if she dreamed too much, so she really felt that her memory was much worse than before, she was forgetful, she always lost things, and she was very depressed, always worrying whether her brain had a tumor or something else was wrong. In fact, dreams are indeed closely related to memory. Dreams are often not really dreamy, but just an increased sense of dreams and an increased experience of dreams. This is commonly seen in patients with insomnia, which manifests as shallow, fragmented sleep, and therefore more waking from sleep and an increased and enhanced experience of dreams. In fact, the total dreaming time is reduced or even severely deficient, which leads to a decrease in memory. If you have the problem of “excessive dreaming at night and memory loss”, it is recommended that you go to a sleep specialist in a timely manner for reasonable diagnosis and treatment.
