Postoperative diet for pancreatic cancer

The dietary considerations for postoperative cardia patients are as follows: 1. Cardia patients who underwent interposition jejunostomy have no significant change in food quantity between preoperative and postoperative, and regular eating is sufficient; 2. Since the running speed of liquid diet is different from the speed of esophageal peristalsis, patients who eat faster may cause obstruction; 3. Patients are advised to reduce the intake of sweet food to avoid causing reflux esophagitis; 4. Cardia patients who underwent direct gastric and esophageal anastomosis have obvious manifestation of reflux esophagitis, and it is recommended to reduce the intake of acid-producing diet such as soy products, potatoes and glutinous rice.
