What to know about infertility tests

  Women: 1. Hormone measurements (FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2) are taken on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation (follicular phase); 2. Progesterone (P) measurements are taken on the 21st or 22nd day of menstruation (luteal phase) (this protocol is only applicable to 28-32 day menstrual cycles); 3. Tubal lavage (water) or imaging is performed within 3-5 days after menstrual cleansing (no pathogenic bacteria in the reproductive tract and leuko-cleanliness of degree I; no intercourse after menstruation; one chaperone required; imaging done every Tuesday and Thursday); 4. ultrasound monitoring of follicular development and endometrium (continuous observation during the 12th-15th days of menstruation); 5. full set of immunological infertility antibodies (TORCH, EmAb, ACA, AsAb) EmAb, ACA, AsAb, AoAb, TA, anti-HCG antibody); 6. Reproductive tract infection examination (mycobacteria, trichomonas and cleanliness, mycoplasma, chlamydia and anaerobic bacteria) except for menstruation.  Male: 1.Semen examination : Abstinence should be 3-5 days after masturbation to obtain sperm; 2.Blood TORCH (unlimited time); 3.Sex hormone determination (unlimited time).
