The concept of anemia is rather general. Anemia is divided into mild anemia, moderate anemia and severe anemia. If a patient with mild anemia has fibroid surgery, the diameter of the fibroid is not too large and the bleeding is not too much, the patient can be operated without blood transfusion. If the patient is moderately to severely anemic and bleeds a lot during the surgery, the patient is having the surgery to remove the fibroids and preserve the uterus, and every time a fibroid is excavated, its trauma will bleed. If the patient’s anemia is severe, blood transfusion is possible during the fibroid surgery. If the patient’s fibroids are not particularly large in growth and diameter, there is a possibility that no blood transfusion will be given during the surgery, so it depends on the degree of anemia and intraoperative bleeding to decide whether to give blood transfusion.
