Gynecological inflammation with metronidazole a few days to take effect

Routine gynecological inflammation will usually gradually ease after 3 days of metronidazole use, but the specific situation needs to be individualized and varies from person to person. Metronidazole can be used for anaerobic bacteria as well as trichomonas infections. If the discomfort is caused by vaginal bacterial infections or trichomonas infections, the patient’s symptoms will gradually ease after about 3 days of using metronidazole, but it is still necessary to consolidate the treatment for about 1 week, and it is important not to stop the medication without authorization to prevent the resurgence of the causative bacteria. Of course, metronidazole can sometimes be used in the case of pelvic bacterial infections, because pelvic inflammatory disease is mostly a mixed infection, and when conventional antibiotics alone do not work well, metronidazole can be chosen for combined application. However, because each person has a different sensitivity to the drug, the time it takes for it to work varies. It should be noted that during the use of drugs, attention should be paid to cleanliness, rest, avoid straining and a light diet.
