There are several types of moles: first, there are junctional moles, which are generally smaller and have a smoother surface, and these are hairless. It is usually flatter or slightly higher than the skin. Secondly, there is compound nevus, which is similar to junctional nevus, but slightly higher than junctional nevus. There is another kind of intradermal nevus, which generally appears as a hemispherical elevated papule or nodule, light brown in color, and hair can appear on it. Generally speaking, it is a normal condition and does not indicate any problem. However, if there is mild local pain or burning or stinging sensation, or if small nevus-like manifestations appear at the edge of the nevus, or if the original nevus suddenly increases in size and deepens in color, especially if the color is asymmetrical or if there is rupture and bleeding, this kind of nevus should be alerted, and it is best to remove it in time and do pathology to look at it again.
