Do breast cysts go away on their own?

It is possible for breast cysts to disappear on their own, but this is a relatively rare occurrence. Breast cysts, including cystic hyperplasia and cumulative cysts, are benign lesions and have a certain degree of self-limitation. Usually after three years or more, the lesions may stop or even disappear on their own if the patient adopts a regular life and diet. However, there is a possibility that breast cysts may continue to progress and may even become malignant, which needs to be taken seriously. In this case, patients should review regularly to observe the changes of the cysts and if there is a tendency of malignant change, they need to be removed surgically in time to achieve better treatment results. Although breast cysts may disappear on their own, patients should not take it lightly and should keep regular reviews to respond to adverse conditions in a timely manner, maintain a regular daily life, eat a light and nutritious diet, and exercise regularly.
