Right side chest pain and tightness

The presence of right-sided chest pain and chest tightness does not completely exclude the possibility of coronary heart disease. Because the occurrence of coronary heart disease and angina is mostly at the junction of the upper middle third of the sternum or to the left, but there is also the possibility that the symptoms of chest pain and chest tightness occurring on the right side are coronary heart disease. At this time, the patient should be asked about the characteristics of the pain, the time frame and the triggers at the onset. Most importantly, an electrocardiogram should be done at the onset of the disease to compare with the electrocardiogram at the onset of the disease to see if there are any changes in the dynamic electrocardiogram. A coronary angiogram or CTA of the coronary arteries can be performed to clarify the diagnosis. In other cases, patients with right-sided chest tightness and chest pain should also consider whether they have respiratory diseases, such as pneumonia, tuberculosis, pulmonary occupations, etc. Right-sided chest tightness and chest pain should also be considered if the patient has liver disease or gallbladder disease. Sometimes gallbladder stones and inflammation of gallbladder can also cause right-sided chest pain and chest tightness. Some thoracic diseases or rib diseases should also be considered to cause the symptoms of right-sided chest pain.
