When is the right time to take worming medicine

The timing of taking medications for the clinical treatment of parasites varies somewhat; some medications are recommended to be taken between meals, while others may be recommended to be taken on an empty stomach. The most commonly used clinical medications for parasites are albendazole and praziquantel. Albendazole, commonly known as intestinal wormer, is a broad-spectrum, highly effective antiparasitic drug that is very effective against common roundworms, tapeworms, and pinworms, etc. It is generally recommended to be taken in a single dose, and is more effective when taken on an empty stomach. Some drugs are recommended to be taken between meals, such as praziquantel, which is the preferred and commonly used drug for treating schistosomes. The dose of the drug is determined by conversion based on kilogram weight, and then regular oral treatment is given between meals. There are some differences in the timing of taking different worming medications. For the timing of taking worming medications, it is important to follow the instructions or follow medical advice and apply them under the guidance of a doctor.
