What is good for children with diarrhea

Diarrhea in babies is a disease caused by multiple pathogens and factors and characterized by an increase in the number of stools and changes in stool properties. Pediatric diarrheal disease occurs mostly in infants and children under 3 years of age, with a high incidence from 6 months to 2 years of age, and is one of the main causes of malnutrition and growth disorders in children. In the case of diarrhea in children, fasting is not advocated. Continue a light and easily digestible diet to meet physiological needs, replenish disease consumption and shorten the recovery time after diarrhea. If accompanied by severe vomiting can be temporarily fasted for 4 to 6 hours (without water), gradually resume breast milk and the original already familiar diet, from less to more, from thin to thick, feeding easily digestible food appropriate to the age of the child. Viral enteritis can have secondary lactase deficiency, so for suspected children, change to de-lactose formula to reduce diarrhea and shorten the course of the disease, and gradually resume a nutritious diet after the diarrhea stops. When a child has diarrhea, parents can give the child the following foods. (1) Millet porridge: Millet porridge is very beneficial for diarrhea, and it can assist in treating common diarrhea symptoms. You can drink more millet oil, i.e. boil millet for a while longer and take the soup from the top to eat. (2) Drink more water: diarrhea will expel a lot of water from the body, resulting in dehydration, you should drink more water at this time to replenish the water lost in the body to ensure the normal functioning of the body. (3) Vegetables and fruits: It is best to eat more fresh fruits, vegetables and light foods, not spicy, greasy and other indigestible foods.
