What medicine do children take for diarrhea

Children with diarrhea can take oral rehydration saline, probiotics or montelukast, all of which can effectively control the symptoms. Bifidobacterium improves the flora environment of the intestine and helps recovery from diarrhea. If bifidobacterium is not working well, you can also take tetracycline, which can mobilize the microbial environment of the intestine more effectively. In the case of bacterial diarrhea, anti-infective treatment with antibiotics is required. In the case of non-infectious diarrhea, it is related to the dietary aspect. Usually, you should pay attention to give your child fresh food, do not eat overnight leftovers, and do not eat raw, cold and spicy, stimulating food to prevent nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain and other discomforts, which will affect the normal growth and development of your baby. Diarrhea caused by eating greasy, spicy and stimulating food can also be stopped by using montelukast. If the number of stools is more than 10 times a day, and the stools are relatively thin and watery, you need to take montelukast and tetracycline tablets in time to protect the intestinal mucosa. However, regardless of the type of diarrhea, it is important to keep the child hydrated and keep the abdomen warm, and to observe whether the child’s urine output has decreased. If the child appears to be in poor spirits and dehydrated, seek prompt medical attention.
