What causes vaginal polyps to bleed

Most vaginal polyps bleed due to granulomas resulting from tissue repair after hysterectomy, which can cause bleeding when touched.
After hysterectomy, the tissues around the wound need to be repaired, and during this process there will be new blood vessels, fibrous tissue proliferation, etc. The granulomas formed by the proliferating tissues and new capillaries are pink to the naked eye, and the granulomas can further proliferate and repair to form vaginal wall polyps.
Most of the vaginal polyps are asymptomatic, but some patients may have a small amount of vaginal bleeding or contact bleeding, which is more obvious during gynecological examination.
Vaginal polyps have a certain possibility of cancer, it is recommended to actively seek medical treatment, perform standardized surgical resection and send the polyp to pathological examination to avoid delaying the condition.
