Can terbinafine cure red ringworm?

Terbinafine is an antifungal medication for the skin, mainly used to treat infections caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton dogii, and Trichophyton floccosum, etc., etc. It is not usually used for the treatment of ringworm.
1. Terbinafine is mainly used to treat hair, nail, and skin infections caused by Trichophyton rubrum (Trichophyton verrucosum, Trichophyton purpureum, Trichophyton breakatum, Trichophyton mustelii, and Trichophyton erythrorhizonticum), Epidermophyton floccosum, and Microsporum canis.
2. It can also treat various ringworm diseases (tinea capitis, tinea cruris, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, etc.) and skin yeast infections caused by Candida (Candida albicans, etc.), as well as vulvovaginal candidiasis and onychomycosis caused by dermatomycetes.
3. Adverse reactions include headache, diarrhea, pyrexia, dizziness, dyspepsia, rash, itching, etc. It is contraindicated in patients with chronic or active liver disease, and is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the product.
4. Terbinafine is not usually used in the treatment of ringworm, and drugs commonly used in the treatment of ringworm include miconazole, clindamycin, erythromycin, fusidic acid, clarithromycin, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid, cefaclor, and so on.
