The treatment of uterine fibroids depends on their size and location: 1. Expected treatment: Smaller size, not in the uterine cavity and older patients are generally recommended to be monitored with a follow-up ultrasound in 3-6 months; 2. Medication: Anti-estrogenic drugs, such as androgens, can reduce the size of fibroids, but rebound will occur when the drugs are stopped; 3. Surgery: Larger size or submucosal fibroids , generally taken surgery. For young women with fertility requirements, the fibroids can be excavated, and if the fibroids are large, or accompanied by obvious symptoms, and the patient is older, hysterectomy can be taken.
