What are the differences in symptoms between adults and infants with epiglottic cysts?

In adults, the cyst may be asymptomatic when it is small, but when it is large there may be a sensation of a foreign body in the throat or even difficulty breathing. In infants and young children, the pharyngeal cavity is narrower and even if the cyst is not too large, symptoms are obvious, often including hoarseness, weak crying, breathlessness and breath-holding, wheezing and intermittent crying during feeding.
