How many days after blastocyst transfer

The time to implantation after blastocyst transfer depends on the type of blastocyst transferred and the patient’s physical condition, etc. It cannot be generalized. Blastocyst transfer is a procedure in which fertilized eggs from artificial insemination are cultured outside of the body for several days, and then implanted into the uterine cavity after the cells have divided and proliferated to a certain number. If the fertilized egg can develop into a blastocyst in vitro, it will prove to a certain extent that it is vigorous and the success rate of the transfer will be relatively higher. Generally speaking, if a day 3 blastocyst is transferred, it will implant about 3 days after the transfer; if a day 5 blastocyst is transferred, it will implant in the endometrium on the day of transfer, and some may implant 2-3 days later. In addition, if the woman is weak, the time to implantation may be relatively longer after the transfer. It is usually recommended to visit the hospital’s fertility center or obstetrics and gynecology department about 14 days after the transfer to determine if conception has occurred by checking the blood HCG. After blastocyst transfer, women should pay attention to rest and avoid overexertion.
