I. Initial consultation
A 30-year-old young female patient came to our hospital with anal warts. The patient said he had anal warts and had previously undergone laser, freezing, photodynamic therapy and topical treatment with recombinant interferon alpha 2b gel in many hospitals and clinics, but all of them were able to remove the warts at the time of treatment, but the warts would grow again soon afterwards. The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what you’re looking for.
Second, the treatment process
The patient is a young woman, in good health, and her basic laboratory indicators are normal. The patient’s condition was recurrent, so it was decided to perform perianal warts electrocautery under local anesthesia to remove the warts. After the operation, the patient was injected with recombinant human interferon α1b injection at the site of perianal wart excision, and subcutaneous injection of thymopentin for 2 weeks, and given levamisole hydrochloride topical application to improve the body’s immunity. After 2 weeks of hospitalization, the patient recovered well and her anxiety was relieved, and no other abnormalities were observed. At the 3-month follow-up, the patient reported no new growths and no abnormalities were found during the anal examination, so he was instructed to continue to apply levamisole hydrochloride topically. The patient continued to use the medication for 1 month, and no new warts were seen at the follow-up visit, so the medication was discontinued. The patient was re-examined 1 month after stopping the drug and no abnormalities were seen in the perianal area, meeting the clinical cure criteria.
Third, the treatment effect
After the patient was treated with perianal warts electrocautery under local anesthesia, the anal warts disappeared and the perianal area was flat. The use of immune booster after the operation improved the patient’s immunity to a certain extent, enhancing the treatment effect and minimizing the risk of recurrence. There was no incision infection or non-healing incision after surgery, and the recovery was good. The patient did not see any recurrence of anal warts after discharge from the hospital, indicating that the patient achieved a more satisfactory treatment effect.
Fourth, notes
I am glad that after a series of treatment patients anal warts can be cleared, no recurrence after surgery, but the patient still need to pay attention to the following situation after discharge.
1, daily life need to pay attention to rest, keep enough sleep, try to sleep before 10 o’clock, daily can also be appropriate aerobic exercise, appropriate increase in nutrient-rich food, such as eggs, lean meat, etc., to enhance the body’s immunity.
2. Patients should pay attention to keeping the anus clean in daily life, especially when the wound has not yet healed after discharge from the hospital, and should flush with saline after stooling and disinfect the perianal skin with iodophor cotton balls to avoid secondary infection.
3. Since the disease is easily recurring, patients must follow the doctor’s instructions and insist on regular follow-up after discharge. Don’t be afraid of trouble and don’t be psychologically burdened by the disease, but adjust your emotions appropriately, which can help you recover as soon as possible.
Five, personal feelings
The anal warts are a kind of sexually transmitted diseases, more likely to recur, most patients often because of repeated attacks and various anxiety, fear, shame and other emotions, so the disease should be to prevent recurrence as the purpose.
