Patients with leg infections generally have different consequences depending on the severity of the infection and the patient’s own healing ability. First, if the patient’s own healing ability is strong, the degree of infection in the leg is mild, and the scope of infection is limited, if the patient can be given hydrogen peroxide, iodophor, saline in time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the wound, combined with appropriate antibiotic anti-infection treatment. Most patients with localized infection can be completely healed in about two weeks without causing serious complications. Second, if the infection of the patient’s leg is more serious, the patient’s own healing ability is poor and the wound is not given timely debridement and disinfection treatment. In this case, the local infection will progressively aggravate with time and even cause huge local ulcers and soft tissue necrosis. Patients develop chills, high fever and other symptoms of systemic toxicity, and some patients may even develop serious complications such as osteomyelitis.
