Can you get rid of a mole on your forehead?

Moles on the forehead can be removed, mainly by physical therapy or surgery.
A nevus is a generic term that refers to a pigmented nevus or a sebaceous nevus. Both are benign skin growths, but pigmented nevi have a very low risk of malignancy, while sebaceous nevi have a relatively high risk of malignancy.
For relatively small pigmented nevi, they can be removed with carbon dioxide laser, ionization or freezing. Larger pigmented nevi or sebaceous nevi need to be removed surgically. Surgery may leave some degree of scarring.
Physical and surgical treatments need to be performed in a specialized hospital by a regular doctor. After mole removal, you need to keep the area clean and breathable, eat less spicy and stimulating food, and avoid scratching the mole removal area.
