The muscle jumping of facial palsy is caused by facial muscle spasm caused by facial palsy, which can be caused by two main reasons: 1. In the early stage of facial palsy, because the edema and inflammation of the facial nerve have not been completely eliminated, some patients will have facial muscle spasm if they have premature acupuncture or facial needle stimulation. 2. After facial palsy, after the facial nerve is stimulated by virus, some patients will have increased excitability of the facial muscle and have facial muscle spasm. The muscle jumping after facial palsy is mainly seen in the acute stage after premature facial acupuncture treatment, as well as the increased excitability of facial muscles caused by viral invasion of the facial nerve itself.
