Children with Angel Syndrome may have the ability to learn to speak.
Children with this condition have severe delays in language development, but are not incapable of understanding language. Therefore, under the guidance of a medical professional, the child learns to express his or her needs, the ability exists for the child to learn to speak and speak successfully, and for the carer to communicate through gestures and body language.
