Is laser surgery safe and can infection or cross-contamination occur?

The surgery is very safe, it is done on the surface of the eye and will not hurt the inside of the eye; the equipment is fully automatic with an infrared automatic tracking system; the excimer laser is a kind of cold laser, the penetration is very weak, moreover, during the surgery the doctor will adjust the laser within the operating range, if it deviates from this range, the laser will automatically shut down; our surgeons have operated on tens of thousands of cases so far without any significant complications. One of the most expensive aspects of the excimer laser equipment is the excimer laser, not the consumables used for the procedure. The blades, medical sea surface, and other items we use to perform excimer laser surgery are all disposable and will not be reused. We have multiple sets of forceps, tips, and other non-disposable items that are strictly sterilized after use, so each patient undergoes the procedure with these items sterilized. Therefore, there is absolutely no need to worry about the possibility of cross-contamination of patients due to excimer laser surgery.
