  In order to make orthodontic treatment go smoothly and achieve more ideal treatment results, patients and parents are requested to cooperate carefully in accordance with the following requirements  1.After the initial wearing of the aligner and the follow-up consultation with force, the teeth will have mild reactive pain or discomfort, which generally lasts 3 to 5 days to relieve, otherwise, you should contact the doctor in time.  2, patients should pay special attention to oral hygiene, morning and evening and after eating, before the follow-up consultation should be carefully clean the residual scale left on the tooth surface and brackets, otherwise it is easy to cause gingivitis, gum recession, periodontitis, tooth decalcification and even tooth decay.  3.No hard and sticky food should be eaten during the whole treatment process, and large pieces of food should be cut into small pieces before eating.  4.If you find that the brackets and bands are loose and the arch wire is broken, you should contact the doctor in time and bring back the fallen brackets and bands, otherwise it will increase the treatment cost.  5.For those who wear auxiliary devices, they must wear them for a sufficient time, otherwise it will affect the therapeutic effect. When taking the extra-oral auxiliary device, one side should be fixed first, then take the other side to avoid accidental damage.  6, the process of orthodontic treatment is generally 4 to 6 weeks to review once. Those who need to change their appointment for special reasons should contact the doctor 3 days in advance.  7, after the end of treatment need to wear a retainer for 3 years, a few patients need longer, or even lifelong retention. Otherwise, recurrence will occur.  8.Please keep the outpatient medical records properly and bring them back when you have a follow-up appointment.  Orthodontic toothbrush and gap brush are recommended for cleaning during orthodontic treatment.
