Why does the left side of the head hurt like a cramp?

Cramp-like pain on the left side of the head is mainly seen in the following areas: First, trigeminal neuralgia, which is a common neurosurgical disorder, mainly manifests as pain on one side of the face, with a relatively short duration, often triggered when washing the face or brushing the teeth, and with a heavy degree of pain. Secondly, migraine is a headache located on one or both temples, mostly in female patients, often triggered by emotional stress and exertion. Before the onset of a typical migraine, there may be symptoms of blurred vision and visual field loss, and the symptoms may be relieved after rest. Thirdly, occipital neuralgia is mostly caused by the inflammatory stimulation at the outlet of occipital nerve, and the pain site is located in the back of the occipital region, and some patients may have pain around the back of the neck and the auricle.
