Vascular bright red nevus is categorized into median bright red nevus and lateral bright red nevus. Median bright red nevus may fade away on its own, while lateral bright red nevus persists for life and will not fade away on its own. Vascular nevus erythematosus is a congenital malformation of capillary development, which is characterized by the appearance of light red or dark red patches of varying sizes on the skin surface. 1. Neutrophilic nevus erythematosus: Neutrophilic nevus erythematosus means that the lesions are located in the middle of the face and occipital area, usually not higher than the skin surface, and some of the patients can gradually become lighter or fade away with age, but some of the patients do not fade away for life. 2. Lateral type nevus erythematosus: Lateral type nevus erythematosus means that the lesion is located on one side of the face, usually higher than the skin surface or forming nodules, and usually increases in size and deepens in color with age, and persists for the whole life, and will not subside by itself. Patients with vascular nevus erythematosus are recommended to have early treatment. Choosing the appropriate treatment method at an early stage can improve the skin lesion by about 80%, and at the same time, it can also avoid some adverse effects, such as localized skin thickening, tissue structure deformity, and so on.
