What to do if your teeth are loose and hurt when you bite them

Loose teeth and pain when biting may be periodontitis, or cryptocleidosis, tooth fracture, the former for periodontal sequence treatment, the latter depending on the degree of tooth fracture using fixed or extraction treatment.
1 Periodontitis: Due to the resorption of the alveolar bone, the support around the teeth is insufficient, resulting in loosening. When the support is low or inflammation occurs, biting pain can occur. Periodontal sequence treatment (basic periodontal treatment, periodontal medication, periodontal surgery and periodontal maintenance treatment) is needed to control inflammation and prevent further progression.
2. Concealed fracture and tooth fracture: Patients usually have a clear diagnosis by history and radiographs when there is a clear trauma. Patients with tooth concussion and apical 1/3 fracture may undergo loose tooth immobilization. Fracture at the root neck or middle 1/3 of the root will require extraction.
There are many causes of loose teeth, as well as jawbone occupation and other possibilities, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital stomatology department, by the physician after examination to clarify the diagnosis and symptomatic treatment.
