Fever in children with bacterial infection can be reduced in a few days

  Fever caused by bacterial infections in children usually lasts about 5-7 days and can be effectively shortened by reasonable antibiotic treatment.  Fever is one of the more common symptoms in childhood and is usually caused by viral or bacterial infections. Fever caused by bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics. Generally, the temperature will gradually improve after about 3 days of medication, and most children can be cured after about 1 week of treatment. But it also depends on the actual situation of the child, if the condition is serious or there is a tendency to aggravate, such as the development of pneumonia, the course of the disease will be relatively longer, may be extended to about half a month.  When a child has a fever, parents can take physical cooling measures such as warm water baths or fever patches to help cool the baby down and eat a light diet.
