Plantar warts are not a precursor to cervical cancer. Plantar warts are common warts on the soles of the feet or the plantar surfaces of the toes caused by low-risk human papillomavirus infections, and have a certain infectious appearance characterized by yellowish or tawny flat papules with a rough surface and clear boundaries. Plantar warts are skin growths caused by human papilloma virus infection, and are generally not directly related to cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is associated with high-risk types of HPV infection and may be triggered by persistent high-risk HPV infection in the cervical area, but simple plantar warts are not a precursor to cervical cancer. If there is a high-risk type of HPV infection, you need to have regular checkups and actively take appropriate interventions.
